With the addition of fiberglass tape over the mostly-dry fillets, the hull seams are DONE!

On Saturday I joined the parts of hull section into single pieces. And no, I was not doing this for 6 hours, it just took that long for the first set of joints to dry...

I'll bet you were hoping for some more super-speedy Lonelybot eye candy, weren't you?  Well you're outta luck, all you get is a lecture on "hull speed" from yours truly.  You may blame my friend Doug for this... I do...

EDIT:  Bah, I misspoke in the video, hull speed at 24' is more like 6.5kn (not 4.5kn).  Lonelybot's cruise speed is 4.5kn, however.

Hull Pieces Removed From Panels

Unfortunately I went a little nuts with the "tab" tool, so freeing the hull parts from the panels cut by the Shopbot was a lot of work...

Wednesday's false start aside, I finally got to the shop and did some actual work.  All of the hull components are now cut:

... well it almost did, turns out the petty concerns of mortals will prevent me from cutting the ply until Saturday (the CNC machine was booked all week, sigh).
